7 Hurt When City Bus Collides With Car In LA

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say seven people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries after a car and a city bus collided in South Los Angeles, sending the bus into a utility pole and flipping the car.

City fire spokesman Brian Humphrey says four men and three women were hurt in the crash at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday. He says none of the injuries were life-threatening. It was not immediately clear how many of the injured were from the bus or the car.

Metro spokesman Rick Jager tells the Los Angeles Times the collision was triggered when the car turned right in front of the bus.
