Gunman Sought In Deadly Confrontation Outside Club

HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — Authorities are searching for a gunman who killed one man and wounded another in the parking lot of a Hollywood club.

The shooting, which took place at Little Temple bar on Santa Monica Boulevard, was reported at 1:22 a.m. Saturday, according to Los Angeles police Sgt. Wayne Guillary of the Northeast Station. One suspect was taken into custody soon after.

"There was an argument in the bar. Management told them to take it outside. They took it outside and it escalated into a shooting," said a watch commander at the Northeast station, who refused to give his name.

The watch commander said the second victim was shot in the leg and is expected to survive.

Guillary said police are looking for a Hispanic man with a shaved-head and a "W" tattooed on the back of his head.

No other information was immediately available.
