2 Hurt, 1 Seriously, In 3-Car Collision On 405 Freeway

LOS ANGELES (CBS)  — Two people were injured Saturday, one seriously, in a three-vehicle collision on the San Diego (405) Freeway, a city fire official said.

The crash on the southbound 405 near Sunset Boulevard in the Brentwood Glen area was reported at 4:52 p.m., said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One of the three vehicles involved in the crash rolled over. No one became trapped and there was no fire, Scott said.

"One patient was seriously injured and one suffered non-life-threatening injuries," Scott said.

Some southbound freeway lanes were blocked until just after 6 p.m. as the California Highway Patrol investigated the cause of the crash.
