ORANGE (CBS) — Will Norton and his family were celebrating his graduation from high school and looking forward to his enrollment this fall at Chapman University in Orange when a deadly tornado swept through the city of Joplin, Missouri Sunday.
Norton was reportedly sucked through the sunroof of the Hummer he ans his father were driving in after the graduation.
Norton has been missing ever since.
Some family believe he checked into a hospital and was then transferred to an unknown location. Other reports said his body has been found. None of it confirmed.
His family has set up a facebook page (Help Find Will Norton) in an effort to locate him once and for all.The page has 10,000+ followers.
People have volunteered from all over the country to help in the search.
The twister, one of the deadliest on record and one of the worst America has seen for five decades, killed at least 116 people with many more unaccounted for.
