EL MONTE (CBS) — Police Monday night released a photo of a man they say led them to a body in a back yard in El Monte.

They also said the victim was a woman.

They did not give the man’s relation to the victim.

The man, identified as 27-year-old Johnny Huynh of Rosemead, contacted the Alhambra Police Department and told them reportedly that he knew where human remains could be located.

Investigators went to a residence in the 9400 block of Cortada Street in El Monte.

Officials said the remains appear to be that of an Asian woman between the ages of 40 and 60.
