STUDIO CITY (CBS) — It will be a cool and cloudy start to your Monday, as a thickened marine layer may bring patchy drizzle.

The clouds should clear later in the day, but daytime highs will be below average.

Temperatures rebound on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday as a ridge of high pressure bumps into Southern California.

Look for temperatures in the 70s with sunny skies. We will cool off a little bit next weekend as we experience the return of the onshore flow.

There is a wind advisory in place Monday through the Antelope Valley. Look for gusty winds reaching 35 mph.

Coastal – mid 60s
Basin – upper 60s
Valleys – upper 60s
Deserts – low 70s
Mountains – upper 50s
