Report: 2.1M Seniors Fall Victim To Elder Abuse Each Year

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Worried about elder abuse? A local senior advocate can answer ease your concerns.

Fred Claridge, Director of Certified Senior Guidance Association and Senior Advocate, visited the KCAL 9 studios Tuesday to talk about elder abuse, a crime that is typically kept out of the public's view.

Each year, an estimated 2.1 million seniors fall victims to physical, psychological, sexual, financial or other forms of abuse and neglect.
