Gray's Anatomy: Why More Women Are No Longer Coloring Their Hair

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Gray hair used to be a sign of getting older. But that was, well...the old days.

This is now!

These days more and more women are saying it's hip to be gray.

Every where you look...magazines, billboards, TV...the trend is, clearly, to leave the locks alone. It's a trend also embraced by Hollywood. Jamie Lee Curtis, Helen Mirren...to name just two.

On the CBS2 News at 11 p.m. Friday, Sandra Mitchell spoke with several women to find out what is behind this new no-color-for-me craze.

Gray no longer means drab. Gray now means gorgeous!

Besides gray being the hip and trendy thing to do, some women point out another obvious reason. Saving on the green. The average woman can save about $150 every 4-6 weeks by not going with color!
