Author Goes Undercover To Meet Notorious Butterfly Smuggler

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Jessica Speart, author of 'Winged Obsession,' visited the KCAL 9 studios Thursday.

'Winged Obsession' is Speart's undercover account of meeting the nation's most notorious butterfly smuggler, Yoshi Kojima.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife estimates the illegal butterfly trade to be work $200 million a year, with some butterflies going for up to $45,000 a piece.
