San Jacinto Man, Son Accused Of Sexually Abusing 4 Underage Family Members

SAN JACINTO (CBS) — A San Jacinto man, his son and a woman have been arrested after being accused of sexually abusing four family members ranging in age from 3 to 10.

Ronald Dale Hurley, 45, Ronald Dale Samuel Hurley, 22, and Monica Maria Silva, 29, were arrested Tuesday afternoon and booked on suspicion of forcible acts of sexual penetration, lewd acts on a child under 14 and continual molestation.

Each is being held in lieu of $1 million bail at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.

According to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Stephen Mike, an investigation into the alleged abuse began earlier this year and concluded Tuesday when the children -- none of whom were identified -- were interviewed by child welfare workers.

The youngsters alleged that they had been "subjected to molestation by several family members" over the last two years, the sergeant said.

"The crimes occurred while the suspects were residing in the 40000 block of Stetson Avenue, Hemet, but the suspects recently relocated to the 400 block of South State Street, San Jacinto," Mike said.

Authorities did not disclose the relationship of the father and son to the female suspect.

Child Protective Services personnel took custody of the youngsters when the suspects were arrested.
