HAWTHORNE (CBS) — Three of seven terriers found abandoned on Imperial Highway two weeks ago are now available for adoption at the spcaLA’s Hawthorne office, it was announced Wednesday.
Originally, seven terriers were turned over to spcaLA. Two have been adopted, two others are receiving medical care and should be available for adoption in about two weeks, and one has been placed in a foster home within the agency’s foster care system.
That leaves Bugsy, Star and Lulu, who are available at the South Bay Pet Adoption Center at 12910 Yukon Ave. The phone number is (310) 676-1149.
“By fostering pets who may be too young for adoption, require special medical care or additional socialization, spcaLA is providing them with one-on-one attention, improving their emotional and physical well being and ultimately making them more adoptable,” said spcaLA President Madeline Bernstein.
