Cool Down With Frozen Freebies Tuesday

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Want a free sweet treat?

On Tuesday, May 10, both The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and participating Haagen-Dazs ice cream shops are giving away free chilly treats for a limited time.

From 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will give guests a complimentary 12 oz. Iced Blended drink. The free drink flavors are ice cream-inspired: Cookies and Cream, Espresso and Cream and Mocha Mint Chip.

If old fashioned ice cream is more your taste, all participating Haagen-Dazs stores will be giving out free one-scoop cones from 4 to 8 p.m.

For even more free treats, look for the Ben & Jerry's ice cream truck around Los Angeles. The famous ice cream duo is giving away free scoops through the end of May. For locations, follow the truck on Twitter.
