LONG BEACH (CBS) — Authorities halted several trains in Long Beach Monday after a suspicious package was found at a Metro Blue Line station.

The object was discovered at the top of a ticket vending machine at the Wardlow Station, according to Rick Jager of Metro.

Officials were sent to remove the item, and train passengers were bused around the area from the Del Amo Station to the Willow Station while an investigation was conducted, Jager said.

Some evacuations were also ordered at the station.
