LONG BEACH (CBS) — A 21-year-old man died Friday after crashing his gray sedan into an embankment on a northbound San Gabriel (605) Freeway offramp in Long Beach.

The crash happened about 2:20 a.m. at the East Carson Street offramp, California Highway Patrol officials said.

Cameron Gillett of Norwalk died at the scene, the coroner’s office said.
