Pregame Release: Brown To Start At SG For Game 3 Against Mavs
DALLAS (AP) -- According to the league-mandated pregame information released by the Lakers, Kobe Bryant will replace the suspended Ron Artest at small forward, with Shannon Brown starting at shooting guard for Game 3 of their series against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night.
According to Lamar Odom, he expects to start in Artest's place.
As for the voice that matters most, Lakers coach Phil Jackson isn't saying.
Artest has started all 90 games for Los Angeles this season, so Jackson hasn't needed a Plan B. He needs to get it right because the two-time defending champion Lakers trail 0-2, and no team in NBA history has overcome an 0-3 deficit.
