LAKE VIEW TERRACE (CBS) — An injured hiker was rescued Thursday evening near the Little Tujunga river bed in Lake View Terrace.

People passing by on horseback found the man unconscious and called for help, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

He was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

The injured hiker was reported at 7:47 p.m. around 10900 W. Foothill Blvd., Scott said.
