Artest Suspended For Game 3 For Clothesline On Barea

DALLAS (AP) — Lakers forward Ron Artest has been suspended from Game 3 of Los Angeles’ second-round series against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night.

Artest was punished by the NBA for a forearm shot to the face of Mavericks guard J.J. Barea with 24 seconds left in Game 2 on Wednesday night. Artest was ejected immediately, and the league said Thursday he also would be assessed a flagrant foul. An accumulation of flagrant foul points could lead to another suspension.

The Lakers trail the Mavericks 0-2 after losing both games in Los Angeles.

Two more games from no more riots or looting. I hope they loose and sit this one out. There getting old and Paul should get the Academy Award for acting like he gets fouled every time someone is near him. Really sad when you argue and beg your way to get a foul on the other team. Just shut the mouth and play ball and collect your overpaid contract.
