Arizona Inks Another Top-100 Basketball Player


TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona has signed Sudanese forward Angelo Chol to a national letter of intent.

Chol, a 6-foot-9 forward from Khartoum, Sudan, was ranked among the 100 best players by numerous recruiting services.

He averaged 23.4 points, 14.9 rebounds and 7.8 blocked shots as a senior at Hoover High School in San Diego.

Arizona coach Sean Miller signed Nick Johnson, Sidiki Johnson and Josiah Turner during the November signing period.
