210 Freeway Reopens After Big Rig Crash In Azusa

AZUSA (CBS) — A big rig crashed prompted the closure of all eastbound lanes on the 210 Freeway early Thursday morning.

Authorities say the driver may have been cut off by another motorist, which caused him to slam into the center divide.

The truck jackknifed, caught on fire and spilled diesel fuel, which prompted the closure of all eastbound lanes between Irwindale and Vernon from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Traffic in westbound lanes was also slow throughout the morning.

No injuries were reported.
