Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 4)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — High pressure still dominating Southern California Wednesday. With a dry off-shore flow in place look for another warm and sunny afternoon.

Temperatures will be similar to Tuesday and maybe even a degree or two warmer. By Thursday, the ridge starts to break down and we will see some cooling with more significant cooling for Friday and the rest of the weekend. Look or the return of the marine layer by the weekend and it should persist into next week...a little more typical of weather for springtime in Los Angeles.

Coastal - low to mid 80s

Basin - upper 80s to low 90s

Valleys - low to mid 90s

Deserts - upper 80s

Mountains - upper 60s
