Police Arrest Fullerton Woman Found With Nearly 100 Stolen ID And Credit Cards
SAN DIMAS (CBS) — A Fullerton woman suspected of stealing identification and credit cards across Southern California is facing several possible felonies Wednesday.
Kalliopi Rados, 32, who was found with a nearly 100 identification and credit cards, was arrested in a traffic stop in San Dimas.
Deputies checking out a suspicious vehicle near Via Verde found a woman in a car with license plates that didn't belong to it about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sgt. Joe McDonald of the sheriff's San Dimas station said.
The car was reported stolen from Westminster, he said. A search of the vehicle turned up what appeared to be burglary tools, stolen credit cards, driver's licenses and student ID cards, as well as an unspecified amount of methamphetamine, McDonald said.
Detectives have spoken to two confirmed victims of theft, including a resident of San Dimas whose security camera recorded a woman matching Rados' description stealing from cars parked nearby.
Rados was booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property, grand theft auto and possession of methamphetamine, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported.
She was being held at the San Dimas jail on $500,000 bail.
