COSTA MESA (AP) — A woman and her father have been shot to death outside a Southern California home and the gunman has been arrested.
Few details are available, but Costa Mesa police investigators say the Tuesday evening shootings were apparently the result of a child custody squabble.
The woman’s 35-year-old ex-husband, owner of the home, was arrested and booked for investigation of murder. The names of the suspect and the victims haven’t been released.
Police Lt. Bryan Glass says officers found the bodies of a 32-year-old woman and her 62-year-old father. The woman’s baby was found unharmed in a car nearby.
Investigators told the Orange County Register that the gunman and woman were embroiled in an ongoing domestic dispute.
