Photos Of Osama Bin Laden's Corpse Will Not Be Released

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The President and his advisors have decided not to release the "gruesome" final photos of Osama Bin Laden's corpse.

The director of the CIA, Leon Panetta has seen the photos and says there's no question they are of Bin Laden.  At first Leon Panetta said ultimately the public will see the photo

"The longer the delay in the release of these photographs I think the more suspicious people will become," said Middle East Expert Joseph Kechichian.

He believes that while most do wanna see the proof there are also those opposing the exposing.

"In the Muslim World a few people will be upset that this pictures as if it were voyeurism.  There will be a few followers who might be upset that we're desecrating the dead."

According to officials, facial recognition technology and a DNA match have given them proof and they are "99.9% confident" that it is Bin Laden.  But some say there's always that 0.1%.
