Man, 22, Stands Accused Of Kidnapping, Sexually Assaulting Developmentally Disabled Woman

FULLERTON (CBS) — A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a developmentally disabled woman, police reported Monday.

Raul Barrientos of Anaheim was being held in the Orange County Jail, with bail set at $100,000, Fullerton police Sgt. Andrew Goodrich said.

A witness called police about 2 p.m. Friday to report a possible sexual assault of an 18-year-old woman in a restroom at the School for Continuing Education at 315 E. Wilshire Ave., Goodrich said.

A Fullerton College security officer located the suspect and detained him until police arrived, Goodrich said.
