Charlie Sheen To Donate $20K To Beaten Giants Fan

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Charlie Sheen says he will donate $20,000 in profits and donations from a San Francisco show to the Giants fan who was severely beaten outside Dodgers Stadium.

Sheen’s publicist Barry Klarberg says Monday the donation to Bryan Stow consists of $9,000 in merchandise profits from Saturday night’s show and $4,000 in audience donations. Sheen matched the audience donations and added $3,000 more for the sum.

Klarberg says Sheen was saddened by the attack on Stow on March 31. The paramedic and Giants fan was placed into a medically induced coma after the beating.

Sheen is an avid baseball fan and has drawn cheers for sporting the hometown ball club’s jersey in cities on his “Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour.

Although the gesture is good, it is not $20,000. Who writes this stuff. $4,000 came from donations of the show’s attendees. Journalism at its finest. They feel the need to exaggerate everything.

    To Journalism suck…$9,000 + $4,000 + matching $4,000 + extra $3,000 = 20k

I want say what everyone else including yourself is thinking.

      1. Journalism Sucks says:

JB – You are correct, the math adds up and I understand that piece. But remove the $4k that is not coming out of his pocket and the actual amount SHEEN is donating is $16,000.

  5. Marco says:

It says Charlie Sheen To Donate $20K. Doesn’t say Charlie Sheen Will Donate $20K of his money.

And your donation total to date ?!?!

    Hello? Hello?
