STUDIO CITY (KCAL) — Funny lady and legend Lucille Ball would have turned 100-years-old in 2011 and a new book is celebrating her life.

Michael Stern visited the KCAL 9 studios Thursday to talk about his new book, “I had a Ball: My Friendship with Lucille Ball.”

The book is Stern’s life story of how a young fan became great friends with the Queen of Comedy.
