Paris Hilton’s Boyfriend Assaulted Outside Valley Courthouse

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The boyfriend of Paris Hilton was attacked outside a San Fernando Valley courthouse moments before the heiress was set to testify against a man accused of breaking into her home.

Cy Waits and Hilton were walking to the Van Nuys courthouse when a man lunged at Waits and grabbed him by the neck.

Hilton has posted on her Twitter account that a “psycho intruder just punched Cy in the back of the head as we were walking into the court house.”

The couple’s private security team restrained the alleged assailant before turning him over to police.

The man has been detained and an investigation is under way, according to LAPD Officer Cleon Joseph.

Hilton was at the courthouse to deliver testimony against Nathan Parada, the man accused of wielding a knife the hotel heiress’ home last summer.

why was this person restrained? evidence on tape shows he “assaulted” then left area. Guard chased him. Guard is not law enforcement and this “assailant” should file real charges against guard for assault and kidnapping. there was no immediate danger and that guard was not acting in self defense. it’s on video. arrest that guy too.
