Police Investigate $1.5M Jewelry Robbery In Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA (CBS) — Three masked men surrounded a jeweler in a Santa Monica parking lot and stole $1.5 million in jewelery.

Authorities responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m. in an alley near Wilshire Boulevard and 21st Street.

KCAL9's Derek Bell reported three masked gunmen robbed a person of jewelry worth an estimated $1.5 million, then fled in a silver Nissan.
