Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 26)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The winds are howling this morning. Wind warnings are in effect for the Antelope Valley, as well as our mountain communities.

Wind advisories are also in effect for the San Fernando Valley and the Santa Clarita Valley.

Other than that, a nice warm up is anticipated for the area over the next few days. An off-shore flow will dominate through Thursday.

Temperatures will reach into the 80s in the basin and some valley communities will see temperatures into the 90s. Plenty of sunshine will be on tap as well.

By the end of the week, the on-shore flow will return, which will mean some cooling and the return of a marine layer.

Coastal - low 70s
Basin - low 80s
Valleys - mid 80s
Deserts - mid 70s
Mountains - low 60s
