The president will arrive at Los Angeles International Airport at 2:45 p.m. before traveling via helicopter to the VA Hospital at Wilshire and Federal.

At 4 p.m., he will attend a fundraiser at Sony Pictures Studios at Washington and Culver in Culver City before dining at Tavern Restaurant at San Vicente and Barrington in Brentwood.

The president will depart from LAX at 9 a.m. Friday.

Some West Los Angeles business owners say the expected gridlock will keep customers away from their stores and restaurants.

Drivers traveling though the Westside should expect delays and even temporary street closures. Real time freeway conditions are available online through CBSLA's traffic section. City of Los Angeles street conditions are available here.
