LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Police say a man on a bicycle was fatally shot Sunday night in an apparent gang-related attack in the Silver Lake area.

The shooting happened about 9:15 p.m. Sunday at Hoover Street and Del Mar Avenue, Los Angeles police spokeswoman Officer Sara Faden said.

The man, who was about 25 to 30 years old, died at a hospital. His name was withheld pending notification of kin.

There were no arrests.

A preliminary investigation determined that the man was riding a bicycle when he was bumped from behind by a vehicle. One or more people in the vehicle then shot him and fled, Faden said.

Good, keep the dead gang bangers coming. Silver Lake is a toilet anyways. Fence the area off and let them at each other. Then the sanitation department will go in and pickup the trash.
