LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Monday, April 18, is the last day to file your taxes. While some of us have already taken care of business there are many of us — you know who you are — putting off their tax prep until the last possible minute.

These post offices will be open late Tax Day for those of us who need just a little bit more time to file: 

  • Airport Station — 9029 Airport Blvd., Los Angeles; mail collection and retail service available until midnight
  • City of Industry — 15421 E. Gale Ave.; mail collection available until midnight, retail service until 6 p.m.
  • Long Beach — 2300 Redondo Ave.; mail collection available until midnight, retail service until 7 p.m.
  • Los Angeles — 7001 S. Central Ave.; mail collection available until midnight, retail service until 8 p.m.
  • Pasadena — 600 Lincoln Ave.; mail collection and retail service available until 10 p.m.
  • Santa Ana — 3101 W. Sunflower Ave.; mail collection available until midnight, retail service until 7 p.m.
  • Van Nuys — 15701 Sherman Way; mail collection and retail service available until midnight
  • Yorba Linda — B&B Pharmacy, 18525 Yorba Linda Blvd.; mail collection and retail service available until 10 p.m.

If you find that you need more time you can file for a tax extension online at the IRS Web site.
