50 Mile Per Hour Winds Expected To Sweep Across Grapevine, Antelope Valley Areas
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Winds of up to 50 miles per hour were predicted to rake across the Grapevine and Antelope Valley area starting Sunday night, the National Weather Service said.
Sustained winds of 30 mph, and 50 mph gusts, were expected along Interstate 5 over the mountains north of Los Angeles in the overnight hours, the NWS said.
Similar winds were predicted to start Sunday night and last all day Monday in the high deserts area near Lancaster.
