New Photos May Help LAPD Find Men Who Attacked Bryan Stow

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating photos submitted by a CBS2 viewer that may provide information about the two men who brutally attacked Bryan Stow at Dodger Stadium.

The photos, which are not being revealed at the request of the LAPD, are just one of hundreds of leads the department is pursuing.

"We get hundreds of tips... I know detectives are working through them," said Chief Charlie Beck.

The photos have several things common with the suspect descriptions: they both feature two Latino men with tattoos, a mustache and goatee, as well as a woman with a brown pony tail and an off-white vehicle. In one photo, one of the men is wearing a Dodgers shirt.

One of the only beating witnesses to come forward, Joe Lagano, tells CBS2 he's been in regular contact with the LAPD. They have asked him not to look at the photos so his eyewitness testimony is not jeopardized.

As for whether this will be the tip that helps solve the case, Beck says, "We'll see if this one pans out."
