Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 14)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — High pressure is bringing gusty winds to Southern California.

A wind advisory will be in effect for our mountain communities until 9 a.m. Thursday. Otherwise, you can expect temperatures to warm up a bit today… with plenty of sunshine.

Friday, look for more significant warming into the 80s through the basin. As the off-shore flow strengthens, we will see some winds increase through the I-5 corridor and up into the Antelope Valley.

We will stay above average into the weekend and cool off for the beginning and middle of next week as a series of disturbances push into the west coast.

Coastal - upper 60s
Basin - low 70s
Valleys - low 80s
Deserts - upprt 60s
Mountains - low 50s
