2-Year-Old San Diego Prodigy Raps Presidents, Capitals

SAN DIEGO (CBS) — At just two years old, a San Diego toddler is full of all kinds of knowledge.  From history, to geography, this little genius can dazzle you with skills most adults would envy.  Reporter Larry Himmel found out just what the talented tot can do.

If you wanna know what Rockford Ramirez knows, all you have to is turn on a camera and he'll rap you all of the presidents.

He did it with ease for us.

With encouragement from his parents, Rocky and Raquel, and a kid-friendly iPhone app, Rockford has developed an inquisitive attitude.

Tell him you want to know the capital of each state, and, well, all you have to do is turn on a camera.

In fact, the prodigy is so tech-savvy, his mother began finding pictures on her Facebook page that she didn't post.

"He's not allowed to look at pictures or videos on our iPhones," she told CBS2.

Now that Rockford has conquered the country and counted the presidents, he's moving onto the continents.

"He can count up to 100 and identify numbers up to 1,000, and can read, I'd say, at about the kindergarten or first grade level,"

All this leaves his parents proud, amazed, and somewhat confused.

"He knows stuff that we don't," his mother laughs.
