PACIFIC PALISADES (CBS) — A hiker with an ankle injury was airlifted from the Santa Monica Mountains to an area hospital, a fire official said.
The woman reportedly was injured near a waterfall in Temescal Gateway Park and firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 9:35 a.m. Sunday.
An air ambulance was sent to the 15600 block of Sunset Boulevard and airlifted the woman to UCLA Medical Center, Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles City Fire Department said. She appears to be in good condition.
