Elderly Man With Alzheimer's Reported Missing In West Covina

WEST COVINA (CBS) — A 77-year-old man suffering from Alzheimer's disease has been reported missing and family members are asking for the public's help in finding him.

Eddy Mata was last seen Thursday morning at a bus stop near his sister's house near Rowland and Azusa avenues in West Covina. He may have been trying to take a bus to West Los Angeles or Whittier, said his son, Roy Mata.

Mata said his father is 5 feet-9 inches tall, is bald with short stubble near his ears, and a native Spanish speaker. He also speaks English. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray sweatshirt and new blue and white sneakers.
