Record Lows Recorded At Several LA County Locations

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Record low temperatures were recorded Saturday at several Los Angeles County locations, the National Weather Service reported.

Temperatures of 28 degree were recorded at Palmdale and 29 at Lancaster. That broke Lancaster's previous record low for this date, which was 31 degrees back in 1999, and tied Palmdale's record low, set in 1933.

The NWS said it was cold south of the mountains as well.

The weather station at UCLA observed a low of 41 and Long Beach saw just 43 degrees. In both cases, the lows tied previous low recordings for this date set in 1999.
