LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Where else can you find monster trucks, a flock of seagulls and all-you-can-eat-on-a-stick in one place?
The first annual Los Angeles Spring Fair, starting Friday and running through April 17 at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, features an eclectic roster of events, including concerts from ’80s favorites like Rick Springfield and A Flock of Seagulls to NASCAR racing, rides, games and attractions for the whole family.
The Fair will feature daily shows and exhibitions by Kent Family Circus, Kid’s Celebration Game Show, Kyra Sundance and her Stunt Dog Team, Rainforest Exhibit and Educational Show, American Diving Dogs, Pirates, Movie Stunt Adventure and Swamp Master Alligator Show. In addition, over 50 food vendors will be on site, ranging from popular favorites like Funnel Cakes and Cotton Candy to vegetarian and vegan options.
Regular adult ticket prices are only $10 in advance or $15 at the gate. Children’s tickets are $5 and kids 5-years-old and under are free. Each ticket provides access to that day’s concerts and special events at the fair.
CBS2, KCAL9, KNX and KFWB are sponsors of the event.
