Riverside County DA Decides Not To Press Battery Charges Against Lohan

RANCHO MIRAGE (CBS) —  The Riverside County District Attorney has decided not to file battery charges against actress Lindsay Lohan.

The District Attorney's Office completed its investigation and determined there was insufficient evidence to file battery charges against the actress, spokesman John Hall said.

Lohan's dustup with worker Dawn Holland occurred on Dec. 12, while the star was in rehab at the Bettery Ford Center in Rancho Mirage.

Holland, who has since been fired from the center, claimed Lohan twisted her arm and hurt her wrist during a confrontation.

The confrontation occured just after 1 a.m. when Lohan returned to the center and refused to take a Breathalyzer test, according to Holland.
