Police Hunt Suspect In Fatal Party Shooting

VALINDA (CBS) —  Sheriff's detectives Monday are on the hunt for a man who shot four people at a party in Valinda, killing one of them.

The shooting occurred at 12:09 a.m. Sunday in the 17200 block of Glenhope Drive, according to the sheriff's department.

A party was being held at the location and alcohol was being served. It was not immediately clear what led up to the shooting.

One victim died at the scene, and the other three were hospitalized. The other three victims were expected to recover, authorities said.

Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call the sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
