Sketch Released Of Serial Groper In Ventura

VENTURA (CBS) — A composite sketch of a serial groper has been released Friday after another attack on a teenage girl in Ventura.

Ventura police say the suspect who attacked two girls on March 15 struck again Thursday afternoon as a 17-year-old girl walked in the 900 block of Poinsettia. The suspect approached the girl from behind and grabbed her chest and buttocks and immediately fled the area.

He was last seen running northbound on Kalorama Street, toward Main Street.

Police say this is the same suspect in two separate incidents that happened on March 15. A 13-year-old girl was approached in the 1500 block of San Nicholas Street by a Hispanic male who reached under her dress and touched her underwear.

Later that day, in the 1500 block of Santa Barbara Street, the suspect walked up behind a 15-year-old girl and grabbed her buttocks.

In both incidents, the suspect was talking on his cell phone and ran away from the crime scene.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 18 to 19 years old with short hair, wearing a black baseball hat.
