Zsa Zsa Gabor Hospitalized After Elizabeth Taylor’s Death

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Zsa Zsa Gabor’s publicist says the shock of Elizabeth Taylor’s death made Gabor fear she was next and sent her to the hospital with high blood pressure.

John Blanchette says the 94-year-old celebrity was watching the news Wednesday morning at her Los Angeles home when she learned her friend and one-time neighbor had died. Blanchette says Gabor was inconsolable and commented: “Oh, Jane Russell and Liz Taylor — I’m next.”

That’s a reference to the common myth that celebrity deaths come in threes.

Blanchette says Gabor’s blood pressure soared and she was taken to the hospital until Monday evening.

Gabor has been in ill health and her right leg was partially amputated in January.

But Blanchette calls her a fighter and adds: “She’s not going to be the third.”

At this stage, it is best for Zsa Zsa to give her life to Jesus Christ and make Him her personal Savior. Life is short…it is even shorter now. Receive the assurance from Jesus of salvation. Prepare for what is beyond the last breath.

    • Duh!

She already has and yet she is still going to die. The Savior is not very good at saving lives.

Well gee stupid, she’s like 94. There’s not much else God can do for her at this point. If she accepts him as her savior, she will go to Heaven and be young again and have eternal life. If I was her age, I would wish to die. The quicker I get to heaven, the better.

ag….not sure what planet you’re from and “the quicker I get to heaven, the better”…..stay away from me…..however….each to his/her own opinion…that’s what makes the world go ’round……

What a sad and lonely feeling – I can only imagine what she must be feeling. Death is scary, even if you do know God. Though we love God, no one ever is ready to leave their family and friends. :(

When the her time comes, what with “Prince Von Whatever” do? Once she does pass away, he’ll lose part of his meal ticket & reason for media attention. Let’s hope he doesn’t try to keep her around – like Norman Bates & his “mother”.
Poor woman having to have that crazy nut around her. :(

I wish Zsa Zsa the very best, always. After her departure, she will leave behind a legacy of elegance, beauty and guts. How people feel about death is a very unique and personal opinion, and therefore, we should keep our thoughts about it to ourselves.
God bless you Zsa Zsa- be well and happy.
