The following is message from the California State Parks Foundation.

(CSPF) California’s state parks need your help now, more than ever. On Saturday, April 16, join the California State Parks Foundation for Earth Day 2011. Join family, friends and neighbors to plant trees, restore trails and clean up beaches. Your efforts help make our parks greener and safer for all to enjoy.

Restoration and cleanup projects are planned throughout southern California and are open to volunteers of all ages.

Help preserve our state parks by digging in April 16 for Earth Day.
