SANTA ANA (CBS) —  A 19-year-old woman has been found safe after she was abducted from her hotel room Monday.

Police say Briana Brooks, 19, was kidnapped from Quality Suites, 2701 S. Hotel Terrace Drive, by her boyfriend, Cliff Green, 24.

Officials say Brooks fled her home in Fresno and was staying at the hotel when Green broke into her room around midnight, dragged her out and allegedly threatened to kill her.

Witnesses confronted Green and called law enforcement, Santa Ana police said.

Brooks was found safe Tuesday in Fresno, but officials said she did sustain some injuries.

Police say Green is wanted for suspicion of kidnapping, burglary and threatening a crime with intent to terrorize. He is also wanted on a $100,000 arrest warrant for narcotics and has a history of weapons violations.
