Arrest Made In Masturbating Naked Pre-School Burglar Case

BOYLE HEIGHTS, Calif. (CBS) — Police announced the arrest Tuesday of a suspect in the burglary of a pre-school in Boyle Heights whose image was caught on surveillance tape reportedly masturbating and prancing around the school lobby nude after committing his burglaries.

The suspect is 15-years-old, according to authorities.

The unidentified male reportedly broke into Centro De Alegria pre-school at 420 North Soto.

The first burglary was alleged to have occurred on November 14, 2010 at 8 p.m. He reportedly struck again, just after 3 p.m., on March 6, 2011.

Police said once inside the school, the suspect ransacked the place taking money, keys and other valuables. After stealing the property, authorities reported the man took off his clothing, masturbated and engaged in "strange" sexual behavior while prancing around the lobby.

Police said they were led to the suspect by a neighbor who recognized his image from the surveillance tape. Authorities made an edited version of the tape available.

He is being held without bail.
