Dive Into Your Dream Vacation At LA Times Travel Show

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Los Angeles Times Travel & Adventure Show, the nation's largest consumer travel expo, returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center on March 19th and 20th!

LA Times travel writer, Chris Reynolds, stopped by KCAL9 Wednesday to to talk about the secrets of the show and his recent California road trip.

The show features the best destinations around the globe to catch a thrill or to chill-out!

Highlights include:

• Scuba lessons for attendees over age 10, hosted by Scuba Tour and beadiver.com. A bathing suit is all that is required to try the underwater scooter and MP3 player in the 4' deep pool, and divers receive a souvenir photo and CD-ROM.

• A 25' climbing rock wall from Tenaya Lodge and Yosemite. Experienced professionals will help guide climbers through a variety of routes and degrees of difficulty.

• "Steer" roping, also provided by Tenaya Lodge. Kids and adults can tap into their inner cowboys by trying to rope an imitation steer.

• For those who have a thing for speed, Zip Go provides a brisk, breezy zip line ride above the show floor.
