$75K Reward Offered In Double Murder Of Married Couple

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The Los Angeles City Council is offering a $75,000 reward for information in the double murder of a husband and wife who were gunned down as they drove in South Los Angeles.

Jerriel Wilborn, 49, and his wife, 51-year-old Sulema, were each shot several times on Aug. 4 at Slauson Avenue and Figueroa Street.

The couple of 10 years was driving when shots were fired at them. The car, driven by the wife, crashed into a telephone pole. They died later at a hospital.

Police say they have no eye witnesses and few leads. Detectives believe the couple was targeted, but don't know why.
