TORRANCE (CBS) — Several transformers exploded near Ocean Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway in Torrance, causing power outages in the area Tuesday.

Ocean Avenue north of Pacific Coast Highway has been temporarily closed.

A Southern California Edison crew is on the scene.
